The internet offers many ways of marketing with autoresponders. Here are a couple of popular ways of using them.
Directories. Some people set up links on their sites. They create a directory on internet marketing or a niche within that, placing their own ad or banner along the top. Then they invite others to add their website links through a link exchange program, listing themselves in your directory.
Some people invite articles to be submitted that include a resource box at the bottom of each with a link to the author’s website. This results in increased traffic as sites link up across the Web.
Enter “link exchange software” or “article directory software” into a favorite search engine for help with each.
Short ecourse. Some marketers write up a simple step-by-step instructional class about an area they have expertise in. You can break it up into smaller parts or messages and set them up in an autoresponder as email messages. Short ads can be put in each message to invite sales and website visits.
Then you can invite visitors to sign up through on online form or email subscription address offered through the autoresponder service. As people sign up, they’ll learn more about the products and services that are advertised in the teaching series.
Membership course. You can set up a much longer course, perhaps a year, explaining an area of internet marketing in more detail. You provide information bit by bit, say, each week. In this way knowledge is built, and also practice if subscribers are given tasks to do as part of the course. As with the short course, products can be advertised related to that session’s topic.
