Any internet business opportunity worth its while has certain qualities which will tell you if you should bother considering it. Here are the top 6 of those qualities.
1 Many opportunities make a link between making a lot of money (even claiming to make you rich) and little or no work. Of course, this is not possible. Effort must be put in if you’re going to get anything out. There is no golden bullet, push button system to produce wealth as you want it. If there was, everybody would be making lots of money while doing nothing. Also, why would someone who’s found out how to do this, then tell everybody else? After all, they’re concerned with making workless money, and now they’ve given themselves plenty of work trying to sell the product. Whichever way you look at it, it doesn’t make sense.
2 Even if someone manages to get a business going, the odds are that they will fold within 5 years. So, look for opportunities that have been around ideally for over 5 years.
3 Find out about the product they’re giving you to sell. Test it out yourself. They might tell you what a great product it is but if it isn’t reliable or people can get it cheaper elsewhere you’ll be on to a loser. In fact, you want to have as an original product as you can, and even a unique one if possible.
4 One of the worst kinds of internet business opportunity is where you “only” have to get people to opt in or sign up in some way. This looks tempting because there seems to be no selling involved but, of course, you have to sell the advantages of signing up. In any case, if this is all there is to it, the business is a dead loss because it has to sell a product or service to make any money.
5 You want a good product that’s combined with support and help in good internet marketing. For example, how are you going to get traffic to your site? In addition, make sure you can build an email list for longer term profits. If they don’t tell you how to do this they’re probably keeping the email addresses, and profit, for themselves.
6 Choose a product you’re interested in and can believe in as being of high value to customers. This will make it easier for you to do your marketing than if you’re simply hoping you can make some short term money out it.
An internet business opportunity must be worth being involved with in the long term, otherwise the probability is it’ll fizzle out after a matter of months.

Staright answer: no work from home business opportunities will make you rich. Here are mistakes people make and you need to make sure you avoid.
1 Buy an opportunity offer for between $197 to $10,000 expecting that it will produce wealth. It can’t. You have to do something with it. No course by itself can produce wealth. This is the same attitude as the student on a college course who believes by the very fact he’s on it, he will get the qualification.
2 It’s no good just going through the actions of the course in a mechanical manner either. You have to use your initiative – fit your actions and plans to your individual business and what you individually want to achieve. You can have step by step plans for small parts of internet marketing but not a whole substantial business, all set up.
3 What are the chances you’ll be one of the few to get through the course? Not good! Like those who buy a book and don’t get past the first chapter, so with those who buy work from home business opportunities, only 10% actually use them.
4 Buying one of these courses and then complaining they don’t work, is very like a young child blaming a chair when they bump into it. The object is completely blameless. The course will not turn you into an incredibly successful internet marketer. No one opportunity can.
5 On top of all this, there is the presumption that the opportunity is wholly genuine. Well, it may be generally speaking. But if the sales copy says it’s worth thousands of dollars because you’ll make your money back quickly in a few weeks or months, then the claim is difficult to believe because it depends on your particular situation, what you’re trying to achieve and your skills. That’s in addition to the first 4 points.
6 Finally, and ultimately, it’s all down to you. Now, you may learn a lot from your work at home business opportunities but if you’re going to be successful then you have to go beyond them. You actually have to go further than them since restricting yourself to them would limit you. Also, as you go on, you have to be able to fit them into the larger context of your understanding and skills. That is, in the end only one thing will make you rich and that is YOU. Only you can learn, intitiate, take action, get over mistakes, keep going, and see what needs to be done for your plans and intentions.
Work from home business opportunities can be great to learn from but in themselves are highly unlikely to provide the one golden key, the one answer, the solution to everything in internet marketing and your own business.

Affiliate internet marketing is a massive subject since it also involves internet marketing. However, you can get started fast if you cover the minimum basics to making some profit from affiliate marketing.
1 Choose your niche which should preferably be something you know about. If you choose the make money niche you’ll probably need to gather quite a bit of knowledge first as your preparation.
2 Choose a product, perhaps in an affiliate directory. Make sure it’s original, solves a genuine problem in your niche, and appeals to the masses. Join the affiliate program.
3 Find keywords, in such as the Google Keyword Tool(TM) related to your product. Then, find how much competition you have by searching in Google(TM) for each keyword in “quote marks”. The more the searches and the less the competion the better.
4 Presell the product by setting up a landing page or blog and writing about the product’s benefits in terms of the problem it solves. You will need hosting, an HTML text editor (there are free ones), and preferably an autoresponder so they can sign up for your newsletter as well as go through to the merchant’s sales site.
5 Presell, as said, by having an ezine. Give the most valuable information you can, without giving so much that your reader doesn’t need to buy the product. This is the same for your blog. In this way you build trust. So, do make make sure your original choice of product is the right one.
Different marketers have different ways of doing these steps and, of course, there’s a lot more detail you could use not mentioned here. In fact, every marketer is different, so try to find your own style, and techniques you like best, in affiliate internet marketing.

Here are 3 online business ideas you can start from almost scratch. You only need money for, at minimum, a hosting account and an autoresponder account. You could even do without the autoresponder if you’re not bothered about building your list at first, or you could get a free version with adverts in. However, do not get a free hosting account as you could have lots of adverts and they might close down suddenly.
Idea One
Sell someone else’s product as an affiliate. Choose your niche and choose a product within it with a good (at least 50%) return on the price. Or go to Clickbank(TM) and choose a product from there. With this idea you don’t even need a hosting account. You set up a presell page, your own sales or review page, about the product, at a site such as Squidoo. Give the benefits of the product and how it can be useful or solve a problem for the reader. Make sure you’re using good keywords in your preselling. At the end, direct them to the merchant’s sales page. They’ll do the rest, including sending you the money. Get traffic to the presell page by writing articles. This is probably the easiest of the online business ideas.
Idea Two
Set up a content site. A blog is best for this as you can keep adding material. Choose something you’re interested in that you can write about – preferably you already have some expertise or authority in the topic. But make sure enough people will be interested in the topic, and enough interested people will buy products to do with that topic. Do your research on keywords in the topic, and your competition. For example, I don’t know how many are interested in albino mice but if that was my interest, I’d have to find out. If you can’t sell stuff, then your website is a hobby site, not a business.
Idea Three
Create your own product on a subject about which you have some knowledge and you know beforehand (this is vital) there are enough people who will buy from you. You could end up with a range of related products, sold on separate sites, some sold in packages, or all in a membership site. However, even with one product at the start, you can diversify once you get going. Let’s say it’s an ebook or report. You could put this on audio, do a video, or sell the whole lot as a physical product. This is the most powerful of the online business ideas because it’s your product you can do anything with.
I know there will people read this post and say to themselves or someone else or both – well, I know that!
They’ve read this information before, so what’s so great about it? What’s the point of repeating it?
I admit there are no how-to details here. That’s not the point of the article.
The point is here are 3 methods you can use to at least get a web presence of some sort, or make some money.
And the bigger point is that knowledge, and even understanding, don’t mean a thing in internet marketing. You might know all the methods under the sun to make money, seen all the videos, read all ebooks, been to $5K seminars…
So what?
There are only three questions you should ask yourself:
What’s your web presence?
How much money have you made?
Have you helped/supported/encouraged your customers, subscribers, visitors?
If you can’t even set up a Squidoo lense for nothing and choose an affiliate product to sell for nothing, and yet continue to criticise at this basic level, what hope is there for you?
If you have got started in some shape or form – fantastic! I hope to meet you one day in your great or limited success!
